Dhomonique Ricks is an Emmy Award-Winning anchor for Fox 4 News. You can catch her weeknights at 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. alongside John Holt. She joined the team, January of 2017.
Most recently, Dhomonique was the 4:00 p.m. anchor/reporter of WEWS-TV in Cleveland, Ohio, where she provided extensive live coverage from the Republican National Convention. You may also recognize her from the Steve Harvey Show. Ricks was the sole talent selected to surprise Harvey live for his birthday special; seen by more than 24 million people. She also is credited for uncovering human sex trafficking in Northeast Ohio in her exclusive special report.
Prior to Cleveland, Ricks was an Anchor/Reporter in Virginia for more than five years.
Ricks got her start in the business at the age of 14. That’s when she was hand-selected to be a host of an entertainment news-magazine show for KARE 11 in Minneapolis.
A few fun facts: Ricks was an international competitive figure skater for eight years, is a former Miss Southwest Virginia USA titleholder, and is a nationally certified fitness instructor.
Ricks was born in Minnesota and is a proud Mizzou grad (Go Tigers!). She and her husband love Kansas City and spending weekends exploring.
