Carey Wickersham reports for the weekend morning show. She loves to bring you stories that make you smile. Her favorite interviews are with children. Carey grew up in Kansas City, and she calls her weekend morning gig her “dream job.”
She began her career as a reporter and anchor in Rapid City, South Dakota. On her journey home to Kansas City, Carey also worked as an anchor and reporter at stations in Arizona and Idaho.
Carey loves to spend time with family, teach water fitness, ride bikes, read and tell stories that make a difference, especially if they involve children.
Carey is a Kansas City native. Her father Dave Wickersham was a major league baseball player. He pitched for the Kansas City Royals in 1969.
