Jessica Eley

Jessica Eley joined the FOX4 News Team in April 2019.

Born and raised in Kansas City, she is happy to be back in her hometown, working for the station she grew up watching.

Before joining the FOX4 news team, Jessica was a sports anchor at WRDW/WAGT in Augusta Georgia. While there, she covered three memorable Masters tournaments, including Tiger Woods’ 2019 win, The Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill, the University of Georgia, South Carolina and Clemson athletics. Her first job was as a sports anchor in Greenville, Mississippi.

Jessica has a Master’s of Science in Broadcast Journalism with a Sports Communications Emphasis from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. She has a Bachelor’s degree in communications from Appalachian State. While at App State, she competed in Division I volleyball on a full scholarship.

Jessica is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She’s also a member of NABJ. When Jessica’s not at work, she’s spending time with her husband and son, who keep her busy! She enjoys traveling, working out and reading.
