Marcus Officer

Marcus Officer joined the FOX 4 Kansas City news team in January 2017 and reports Monday – Friday on FOX 4 News at 5 p.m. with John Holt and Dhomonique Ricks and for the 6 p.m. newscast with Phil Witt and Loren Halifax.
Marcus, a Texas native, spent the last two years working in Austin where he covered a number of stories including: The deadly hot air balloon crash near his hometown of Lockhart and the Bastrop Memorial Day floods. Marcus has also worked in College Station, Texas and San Angelo, Texas.
Marcus graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism. You can find Marcus exploring the many sites Kansas City has to offer. He enjoys working out, sporting events, concerts, and traveling.
