Turn on FOX4 News Saturday and Sunday and Rob Collins will be there with a smile and a pair of cowboy boots. Rob’s a proud native Texan but is thrilled to call Kansas City home.
Collins comes to K.C. from Champaign, IL where he spent 10 years as a Sports Anchor/Reporter and 6 years as a Morning News Anchor. Rob says he left some boot prints in Rockford, IL and Sherman, TX along the way.
In over 20 years of television, Rob’s traveled to several foreign countries, jumped out of airplanes, and even re-created a few movie scenes to inform and entertain viewers. Rob has several awards in his desk along with an array of hot sauce bottles and protein bars.
Rob enjoys lifting weights, playing sports, hanging out with his wife and kids and interacting with FOX4 viewers.
