Russell Colburn joined the FOX4 News team as a weekend anchor and reporter in July 2020. His wife’s whole family lives here, so he’s excited to be in his new home and eat some of the best BBQ on the planet! This is his first time living outside of Florida since he was 2!
Before his time in Kansas City, Russell spent six years as a fill-in anchor and reporter at Action News Jax in Jacksonville, FL. He covered major hurricanes, stories, and more- even traveled to London to cover the Jaguars in back-to-back years.
Russell also worked as a sports anchor and reporter from 2010-2013 at Fox 10 News in Mobile, AL. Russell operated out of a bureau in beautiful Pensacola, FL after graduating from the University of Central Florida. (GO KNIGHTS!)
Russell grew up in Destin, FL, where his parents still live. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, softball and watching sports/movies. Feel free to reach out to him any time with a news tip- or just to chat!
