Nearly Half of Adults at Risk for Heart Attack, Stroke

KANSAS CITY, Mo. —  A new government survey finds that compared to ten years ago, fewer adults have at least one of three big risk factors for heart disease. Those risk factors are uncontrolled high blood pressure, high cholesterol and smoking.

FOX 4 Medical Reporter Meryl Lin McKean says even though the percentage is dropping, nearly one in two adults has at least one of those factors.
