Clair De Lune Seeks Gentle-Used Bras for Hope House

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Terry Levine, the owner of Clair De Lune in Overland Park, is on a mission to help the women of Hope House, a Kansas City metro area shelter for women of domestic abuse. Levine is asking women all across the metro to clean out their lingerie drawers and donate their gently-used bras to Clair De Lune.

From now through January 29, each bra donated will be compensated with $15 toward the purchase of a new bra at Clair De Lune. The gently used bras will then be donated to Hope House. Its services form a safety net of prevention, education and support for more than 10,000 victims of abuse every year.

This is the eighth year for the annual event, and over the course of those years, Clair De Lune estimates more than 8,500 bras have been donated to the Hope House.

Clair De Lune is located in the Hawthorne Plaza at 119th & Roe in Overland Park, Kan. Contact them at 913-491-3232 or visit their website.
