Couple celebrates 70 years of marriage together

KANSAS CITY, Mo, — FOX 4 helped celebrate one couple’s special anniversary on Saturday.

Raymond and Geneva Herring are celebrating 70 years of marriage. They were married May 10, 1944.

Raymond is a WWII vet. He was in the 17th Airborne Glider Division. Geneva was a volunteer for Cancer Action for over 40 years.

They have four children; three daughters, and one son, 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and five great, great grandchildren.
