Kansas City Zoo’s polar bears cool as a cucumber in intense summer heat

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — When temperatures rise, people — and animals — can get uncomfortable if they don’t have a place to cool off. Animals from cooler climates are more susceptible to the dangers of extreme heat. The Kansas City Zoo is aware of these dangers and showed FOX 4’s Rob Collins what measures are in place to keep polar bears Nikita and Berlin cool.
