KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Encouraging students, especially teen girls to rebel against conformity, peer pressure and the unrealistic standards of beauty. A local organization is gaining national attention for its commitment to being sure our teenagers are healthy and strong-minded.
Laura, the founder of Rebel and Jackie, one of the students in the program, were appeared on Thursday’s FOX 4 Morning Show to talk more about the program that has targeted teens nationwide.
Rebel is a student-driven education and prevention program designed to address eating and body image concerns.
