Understanding EF-5 tornadoes and how they’re rated

The tornado that ripped through Moore, Okla., killing 24 people on Monday was rated an EF-5, the highest on the Enhanced Fujita scale. EF-5 tornadoes are incredibly rare, but are often times deadly. FOX 4’s Michelle Bogowith explains how weather officials determine the rating of a tornado in the video below.
