KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Just in time for Christmas, the folks at Starbucks have an app that allows you to interact with your coffee cup. (And I don’t mean picking it up to sip your peppermint mocha.)
You simply take a photo of one of the cute characters on your cup (the red one, not the clear one), and the app instantly recognizes which one you have. But, of course, that’s not all.
By tapping on the character, you can interact with it. In this case, it’s a cute little skater, twirling across the FOX 4 assignment desk.
The app is free from the Apple iTunes store and the Android Market. It’s different than the main Starbucks app. Enjoy!
