PRAIRIE VILLIAGE, Kan. — The Village Shops along Tomahawk Road in Prairie Village are fully occupied for the first time in more than 20 years.
Mary Rimann, who is President of Merchants Association, owns Rimann’s Liquors with her husband. She believes the center has the improved economy and its customers to thank.
“We have a good customer base. We have great shoppers here. They really love supporting the shopping center and I think it shows with the lengths of some of our businesses here,” said Rimann.
The shops are predominantly locally owned, with a few chain stores sprinkled in.
