Celebrate the MLS Cup with fellow Sporting KC fans at Union Station

KANSAS CITY, Kan. — After a hard-fought match on a bitterly cold Saturday, the Major League Soccer Cup belongs to Sporting KC.

After 90 minutes of regulation, 30 minutes of extra time, and then two rounds of a penalty kick shootout, Sporting Kansas City was crowned champions of Major League Soccer.

It’s now time to celebrate.

The Monday event at Union Station is free and open to the public. The official MLS Cup will be on display. Festivities include opportunities for fans to have their photo taken with the Philip F. Anschutz Trophy. There will also be a live DJ and players will make appearances.

The celebration starts at 6:30 p.m. and lasts until 8:30 p.m. at Union Station. Fans can park in the lot in front of the building or in the visitor garage to the west of the building.
