FAIRFAX, Va. — Drivers in Fairfax County, Va., experienced a little confusion on Interstate 66 recently.
The confusion came from crooked lanes. Crews used striping — instead of paint — to separate and outline driving lanes. But the striping peeled loose and moved, causing crazy curves and wiggly lines on the roadway.
According to WJLA, road crews closed the interstate for repairs. They’re looking into what caused the lanes to come loose.
