PUEBLO, Colo. — Two elementary school students in Colorado got busted for having marijuana at school, and authorities worry it’s the beginning of a larger problem.
The two students, a 10-year-old girl and an 11-year-old girl, were caught by school authorities with marijuana in their possession on school grounds in Pueblo, Colorado.
The two girls are now going through education programs on the dangers of drugs.
“They got it from home and they brought it to school because it was ‘cool and legal,’” said an authority figure of the school.
Colorado recently legalized small amounts of marijuana for recreational use, but buyers must be adults and go through a licensed seller.
