LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo. – Instead of physical books, Overdrive, Inc.’s Digital Bookmobile is showing people coast to coast how to download some of the more than 650,000 titles currently available online.
While e-reader users are aware they can buy books online, many still don’t know they can check them out from their local libraries for free. The national tour hopes to change that.
The bookmobile recently stopped in Lee’s Summit to explain how it works.
If you missed it, it’s still not too late to learn how to check out e-books.
There’s a step-by-step guide on Overdrive, Inc. website. Visit http://www.overdrive.com/ to learn more.
