He lost his iPad, now one man is on a mission to get it back. Odds could be in his favor since the woman who seemingly has it keeps using it to take pictures of herself. Those pictures then get sent to the Allen Engstrom’s other devices — a feature of iCloud.
Engstrom doesn’t know her name, but he definitely knows her face. He said he left his iPad on a plane and it apparently got picked up by a woman who has a fetish for self portraits. While not having his iPad is frustrating, Engstrom said he’s trying to make the best of a bad situation.
“Every time I get a picture of her, it’s like a continuing fountain of entertainment,” he said.
Engstrom said he did not have the app “Find my iPhone” installed, so he has no way of knowing where his iPad is. He just knows one woman is getting good use out of the camera.
Engstrom said even if he never sees his iPad again, he has that “continuing fountain of entertainment.”
