Jury selection for Cross trial expected to last all week

OLATHE, Kan. — It will be up to 12 people in Johnson County to decide the guilt or innocence of Frazier Glenn Cross.

Jury selection began Monday in the trial of the accused gunman.

William Corporon and Reat Underwood

Prosecutors say Cross shot and killed 69-year-old William Corporan, his grandson, 14-year-old Reat Underwood, and 53-year-old Terri Lamanno.

Terri Lamanno was the 3rd victim of the deadly triple shooting on Sunday outside Village Shalom and JCC.

They were shot outside the Jewish Community Center, and Village Shalom retirement complex in April of last year.

Cross is charged with capital murder and is representing himself at the trial. Jury selection is expected to last all week.

The Johnson County District attorney says he will ask for the death penalty if jurors find Cross guilty.
