KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Easter in the metro is all about faith, fellowship, family, and at the Kansas City Easter Parade, fancy outfits.
“We feel terrific we love each other,” said Arthur Milon of Kansas City.
Arthur and Flora Milon were the reigning best dressed couple.
“The first year we were beaten out by a lady that carried a rabbit,” Arthur recalled. “We don’t have a rabbit, but we decided forget the rabbit, we’ll just go as we are.”
For the fourth year the Murphy family drove in from Leavenworth, Kan. to be in the Easter parade.
“We’re excited to be here! We’re hoping to make it into one whole big tradition,” said Samantha Murphy.
Mom Alisa had them hop to it bright and early to arrive on time.
“Because it’s fun, I get to see them dressed up at least twice a year,” said Alisa.
Just like the movie, everyone was in their Sunday best for the parade.
