OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — A person was hit by a car in Overland Park Monday afternoon, police said.
The accident happened around 4:40 p.m. in the 7600 block of Metcalf Ave. Witnesses told police a man attempted to cross the road where there wasn’t a crosswalk and was hit.
The man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, but is expected to be OK.
No one else was injured in the accident, police said.
Police continue to investigate.
