Police Apprehend Third Escaped Convict

RUSSELL, Kan. — Police have captured three of four inmates who escaped from the Ottawa County, Kan., jail on Wednesday, April 18.

At approximately 11:38 p.m. on Thursday, April 19, 2012, police apprehended Santos M Carrera-Morales in Russell, Kan. Santos Carrera-Morales is the third of the four inmates to be apprehended. Eric James remains at large.

James, 22, was convicted in 2009 in Anderson County of three counts aggravated burglary and one count kidnapping. He is described as a black male, 5’7″, 180 lbs, with brown eyes and cornrows.
