KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police have arrested a man believed to have sucker punched a KCATA bus driver on Monday, Oct. 1.
On Friday, Kansas City Police Chief Darryl Forté posted the following tweet.
Prior to the suspects arrest, police released surveillance video of the assault. The video shows a group of people getting off the bus, when suddenly one of them, for no apparent reason, punches the driver in the face and takes off. The driver lost consciousness, but has since returned to work.
