Police chase ends in front of Pleasant Valley home

PLEASANT VALLEY, Mo. – Police spent hours Tuesday night outside a home along Pleasant Valley Road.

Kansas City, Missouri Police were on the scene after they were led on a car chase that ended in Pleasant Valley.

“They are still looking around the house to make sure it’s not involved, but there’s nothing to suggest that it is,” said Public Information Officer Tye Grant.

Police told FOX 4 they spotted a truck that they thought might have been involved in an afternoon burglary in Leawood, Kansas. After the driver of the truck took off, a chase happened and at one point police said the driver was going the wrong way on the interstate.

Shortly after, the driver ditched the truck and was found walking near Pleasant Valley Road. Police said the investigation is ongoing.
