INDEPENDENCE, Mo. — Within the last two months, Independence police say there have been at least 16 churches burglarized in Independence, Liberty, Lee’s Summit, Raytown and Kearney.
Initial information leads investigators to believe all of the burglaries are related.
Police released a surveillance photo from one of the targeted churches on Friday afternoon.
Police are asking for the public’s help to report anything you might know about the burglaries, possible suspect or suspects, or cars used in the burglaries.
