SCOTLAND — The Queen of England may have just surpassed all others for the best photo-bomb of 2014.
Queen Elizabeth was in Scotland to greet the women’s Australia Commonwealth Games hockey team for their game against Malaysia. During her visit, many of the players took pictures of themselves for social media purposes.
Unbeknownst to two members of the “Hockeyroos” team, the Queen popped into one of their pictures, and looks quite amused at her epic photobomb.
“Ahhh The Queen photo-bombed our selfie,” Jayde Taylor wrote on her Twitter account.
Jayde then tweeted Ellen Degeneres to tell her, “I think our selfie tops yours,” obviously referring to Ellen’s selfie with about a dozen movie stars during the 2014 Oscars.
Congratulations to Jayde and the rest of the Hockeyroos, who beat Malaysia that day.
