KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The reward to find the killer of a developmentally-disabled man shot and killed in a daylight robbery is going up.

Timothy Riley, 38, was shot and killed for the money in his pocket in an armed robbery late last month in the 400 block of South Benton.

Riley, whose family says had a difficult time reading and writing, worked one day a week as a maintenance man at a Kansas City, Missouri, daycare.

The reward for information leading to an arrest in the case is now $6,000. Anyone with information is asked to call the TIPS Hotline at (816) 474-TIPS.
