TOLEDO, Ohio — Oh, what a sinking feeling. A large sinkhole swallowed a woman and her car on Wednesday in Toledo, Ohio. The 60-year-old woman was not injured and reportedly climbed a ladder to get out. She was taken to an area hospital to be checked out, but is expected to be okay.
Crews said the sinkhole was caused by a collapsed sanitary and storm sewer lines.
The hole was estimated to be about 10 feet deep. Crews recovered the car shortly after 4 p.m.
