Stretch of Quivira closed due to downed cable lines

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – An Overland Park intersection is expected to remain closed for most of the day Friday due to a vehicle collision.

According to the City of Overland Park, the vehicle collision caused downed cable lines on a stretch of Quivira from 154^th Terrace to 155^th Terrace.

The Overland Park Police department cleared the scene Friday morning and KCP&L is handling traffic control in the area while the lines are repaired by Time Warner Cable.
