Three teens taken to hospitals by Life Flight after car crash

HENRY COUNTY, Mo. – A vehicle with five 16-year-olds inside ran off the road and flipped, landing on its side late on Tuesday night. Three of the passengers were taken to Kansas City hospitals via Life Flight helicopters. All of the vehicle occupants were females, two of them sustained serious injuries, one had moderate injuries.

Four are from Clinton, Mo. and the other is from Mesa, Ariz. The two that weren’t taken by Life Flight were transported by ambulance to other hospitals with minor injuries, one being the driver.

The crash report said that a 2002 Ford was totaled after it ran off the left side of Highway M near 221 Rd. in Henry County at 11:15 p.m. FOX 4 has reached out to the Highway Patrol for more details.
