KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Time Warner Cable (TWC) invites Plaza Art Fair-goers to compete for Plaza gift certificates by playing “Tweet and Go Seek” throughout the weekend. This is one of many exciting opportunities for TWC-sponsored family fun and artistic engagement at the Plaza Art Fair.
The highlight will be a scavenger hunt at the Art Fair. Follow Twitter for clues leading to 100 4-inch tiles hidden in public spaces throughout the festival. The tiles can be redeemed at the Time Warner Cable tent for Plaza gift certificates valued at $5 to $100. This is the first time “Tweet and Go Seek” has been played in Kansas City. Anyone can play; simply follow @TWCable_KC for clues, which will be Tweeted sporadically throughout the weekend festival. The contest kicks off at 5 p.m. on Friday.
To make it easy, Time Warner Cable is providing free WiFi at the Plaza during Art Fair. Time Warner Cable technology specialists in “Free WiFi? Ask me!” shirts will be roaming the festival armed with iPads and fun giveaways. The specialists will offer instructions for accessing free temporary TWC-hosted WiFi spots throughout the festival. Volunteers at the TWC booth on Broadway also will have instructions for accessing the complimentary service.

At TWC’s product demonstration tent, visitors can test TWC products, pick up cool giveaway items and take a picture in front of an artistic Kansas City skyline. This family-friendly space will offer face painting from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. The TWC tent will be located on Broadway just north of Nichols Road. Additionally, Time Warner Cable will sponsor fun giveaways from the main stage throughout the weekend.
Time Warner Cable Media Lounge: While at the Plaza Art Fair on Saturday and Sunday, stop by Time Warner Cable’s private media lounge on Broadway and Fullerton for a cold drink, a comfortable place to work and a chance to check in on your favorite football games.
