Two KC North children report a couple tried to snatch them

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — School leaders in The North Kansas City School District sent a message to parents on Thursday, to inform them that two students reported being approached by a man and a woman on their way to school.

According to the school message, two siblings were walking to Chouteau Elementary School when a  man and a woman in a gold, four-door car approached them at the intersection of Parvin and Jackson.

The man got out of the car and grabbed the wrist of one of the students who was able to break away, the letter states.

The students report the car sped away and the two students ran to report the incident.

The man was described as Hispanic, with a medium build, black hair, a mustache. They say he was wearing a green button-down shirt and white stripes.
