OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — A customer of an Overland Park bank noticed something odd on the bank’s ATM while getting cash out, and now investigators have confirmed that thieves put a skimming device on the bank’s ATM machine.
Police released pictures of the men they suspect put the device on the machine.
Investigators say the men installed the skimmer on the Commerce Bank cash machine at 127th and Antioch on Saturday.
Police said it appears the device was in place for less than a day.
“It was caught in a relatively short period of time. No evidence anyone’s account numbers were compromised,” said Detective Dennis Reaser with the Overland Park Police Department.
If you can identify the men in these photos, you are asked to call the TIPS Hotline at (816) 474-TIPS.
