HOLLIS, N.H. — There’s nothing creepy about a man dressed in a Santa suit peeping into school windows, is there?

Well, it happened in Hollis, N.H. on Thursday. Police say a men dressed as Ole St. Nick was just trying to spread holiday cheer, but his bright idea backfired after school officials panicked.
The Santa impersonator ran around the school, knocking on school windows, waving at children. Someone at the school buzzed him in, but when he saw the panic on people’s faces, he fled.
He later contacted police and explained he was only trying to spread “holiday cheer.” Police have not identified him because he has not been charged.
