Lisa Farmer’s Caprese Salad recipe

A note from FOX 4’s Lisa Farmer:

Summer is here!  One of the things I love about living in the Midwest is the changing of the seasons.  Each season brings an array of locally grown fruits and vegetables.  Summer is the time to enjoy locally grown tomatoes, corn, peaches, and many more.  These locally grown fruits and vegetables are bursting with flavor and nutrients.  Produce that is allowed to ripen on the plant provides optimal nutrients and taste.  If you haven’t been to a local farmers market, I encourage you to visit one this summer.  The following link will help you find a farmers market near you in Missouri.
