GAINESVILLE, Fla. — No. 3 Florida made Mizzou its 28th straight victim at home, beating the Tigers 68-58 in Gainesville. It was a tight game until about 10 minutes to go, when the Gators turned a 43-43 tie into a 59-48 lead. Scottie Wilbekin scored 19 points for Florida (20-2 / 9-0 SEC). Jabari Brown led the Tigers (16-6 / 4-5) with 15 points.

The Tigers’ 3-point shooting kept them in it for much of the game. They made eight of 21 from behind the arc, but just four of 13 in the second half. The Tigers went more than four minutes without a point, a stretch that helped Florida build its biggest lead. Mizzou has lost two straight. The Tigers play at Ole Miss on Saturday.
