Kansas State and Missouri will kickoff the 2014 college football season ranked in the AP Top 25. The Wildcats came in at no. 20 in the AP Preseason Poll. The Tigers will start the season ranked no. 24.
K-State is one of thee Big 12 teams in the AP Preseason Top 25. Oklahoma begins the season ranked fourth. The Sooners received one first-place vote. Baylor is ranked tenth.
The SEC led all conferences with eight teams in the Top 25. Alabama is second (one first-place vote), defending conference champion Auburn is sixth, followed by South Carolina (ninth), Georgia (12th), LSU (13th), Ole Miss (18th), Texas A&M (21st) and Mizzou (24th).
Defending national champion Florida State is no. 1. The Seminoles received 57 of 60 first-place votes.
