COLUMBIA, Mo. — Jabari Brown scored 24 points and Jordan Clarkson added 22 as the Tigers roared past South Carolina 82-74 in Columbia.
Mizzou jumped out to an 11-0 start and led by double-digits for most of the game. The victory boosts the Tigers’ SEC record to 3-3, while the Gamecocks dropped to 0-6 in the conference.
Now the Tigers are facing a difficult stretch of games beginning Tuesday at Arkansas. They host 14th ranked Kentucky next Saturday, and then travel to sixth ranked Florida on February 4.
