Wildcats win third straight

The K-State Wildcats were unstoppable in Lubbock, Texas Saturday. The Wildcats rolled over No. 23 Texas Tech for their third straight victory. K-State has displayed steady improvement over the last three weeks, resulting in lop-sided wins over West Virginia, Iowa State, and now Texas Tech. It’s their first road win of the season.

The Wildcats scored touchdowns on all five of their first half possessions and led at the half 35-10. Running back John Hubert had is best game of the season, rushing for 157 yards and a 63-yard touchdown on the second play of the game. The two-headed quarterback duo of Jake Waters and Daniel Sams combined for four rushing touchdowns.

 

K-State (5-4/3-3) hosts TCU next Saturday in Manhattan.
