Trump says he won't 'play hardball' with China and expects tariff deal to happen 'pretty quickly'

The stock market rallied early Wednesday after President Trump teased a cut to the 145 percent tariffs on China.  The market opened positively with the Dow Jones Industrial up with a gain of more than 700 points, rising about 2 percent while the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite also made sturdy gains.  “145 percent is very high. It won’t be that high, it’s not going to be that high … it won’t be anywhere near that high,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office on Tuesday evening. “It will come down substantially, but it won’t be zero.”
