Midday temperatures are creeping into the low 80s around the Metro, on our way to mid 80s for sure this afternoon. The increasing wind gusts out of the southeast will be the difference-maker today, which is way we have the chance of seeing upper 80s for some late today with mostly sunny skies. A cold front will move through Thursday morning, creating another windy, but slightly cooler, day. Highs should move back to low 80s for the rest of the work week and weekend as rain chance grow. Sunday, Monday & Tuesday all look wet from time-to-time, with potentially severe storms around Monday into Tuesday. We'll monitor that!

The stock market rallied early Wednesday after President Trump teased a cut to the 145 percent tariffs on China. 

The market opened positively with the Dow Jones Industrial up with a gain of more than 700 points, rising about 2 percent while the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite also made sturdy gains. 

“145 percent is very high. It won’t be that high, it’s not going to be that high … it won’t be anywhere near that high,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office on Tuesday evening. “It will come down substantially, but it won’t be zero.”
