OVERLAND PARK — If you’ve been to Build-A-Bear in the last few months, you might want to check that teddy bear you brought home. The company has recalled nearly 300 thousand teddy bears due to a choking hazard issue. The specific bear being recalled is the “Colorful Hearts Teddy”. The CDC issued the recall after learning the bear’s black eyes could come loose and fall out.

If you’ve purchased the “Colorful Hearts Teddy” you can take it back to any Build-A-Bear store where you can get a coupon to make another furry friend. If you have any more questions, you can call 866-236-5683.
