RICHMOND, Mo. — A 21-year-old Richmond man — who authorities say nearly killed his mother in a sledgehammer attack — has shocked his friends and family members.
The attack happened in early January — and Michael Dorton was arrested before going on stage at a Merriam bar.
FOX 4’s Macradee Aegerter spoke to Dorton’s band mates, who have a message for his mother.
