KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Tickets are on sale for a benefit concert to raise money for the immediate needs of JJ’s Restaurant staff and employees hurt by the fire and explosion on Feb. 19th.

The concert is scheduled for Tuesday, March 5 at 7 p.m. at the Uptown Theater.

Jim Ligon, a JJ’s bartender is spearheading the Friends of JJ’s Benefit.

“The Benefit is to give back. To create a fund in honor of Megan, and help those who make JJ’s such a special place to so many in Kansas City get better and back on their feet,” said Lignon in a news release about the event.

Proceeds will benefit all the employees affected by the fire as well as create a fund in honor of Megan Cramer, the woman who died.

The concert features The Latenight Callers and David George and A Crooked Mile.  Tickets are available through Ticketmaster. Click here to link to it.
