MICHIGAN — It’s not something you expect to happen — a deer pops out of a car trunk like a gopher in the ground.
That’s what happened to officers in Michigan. During a traffic stop police were more than startled when a deer jumped out of a man’s trunk.
The driver told the officers he had hit and killed a deer and was taking it home to eat. When police popped the trunk, out popped the doe — not dead.
The deer reportedly went on its merry way, albeit a little dazed and disoriented.
This reminds us of another deer-related story from North Dakota when a woman, confused by deer-crossing signs, called a radio station and asked to have them moved. The radio hosts were so baffled by her request, they posted the interview on YouTube. It’s funny. You should listen to it. CLICK HERE.
