KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Shoppers who live north of the river will have one less place to buy music and electronics. The Best Buy Store near Metro North is closing.

The store is located at 509 NW Barry Road. A letter was sent out to customers recently saying that market trends played a part in the company’s decision to close the store.

There are two other locations where shoppers can go. One Best Buy is in Liberty and there’s also a location at Tiffany Springs.

From January 29th through February 1st the store will close temporarily to move inventory.

The sore will reopen from February 2 through 14 and offer deep discounts on box merchandise.

The store’s final day will be on February 14 or when all merchandise is sold, whichever comes first.
