BISMARCK, N.D. — When anchor A.J. Clemente debuted as weekend anchor at KFYR-TV in Bismarck, North Dakota — he probably didn’t expect his first words on-air to become a viral video sensation.
The station suspended him shortly after the incident and apologized on Facebook. On Monday, Clemente tweeted, “Unfortunately KFYRTV has decided to let me go. Thank you to them and everyone in ND for the opportunity and everyone for the support.”
WARNING — GRAPHIC LANGUAGE
After the broadcast, Clemente Tweeted that the broadcast “couldn’t have gone any worse.”
