BELTON, Mo. — The City of Belton, Mo., honored season two X-Factor winner and Belton native Tate Stevens in a special way Monday. When Belton residents look at the city water tower, they will now see his name.

The project was funded by private donations.

“It feels very surreal,” Stevens said. “The whole idea that they think that much of me and — that’s crazy to me. I’ve very honored. It’s very humbling. I’m going to do everything I can to make them proud.”
