KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police said Thursday a body that was found buried near Longview Road and Richmond in south Kansas City, Mo., Wednesday is that of a missing 14-year-old boy.
Montee Ross was last seen on Sunday afternoon when he left with his brother to go to the store and never returned home. His mother said it was not like him to run away.
His mother, Alicia Temple, said at some point, Ross separated from his brother and went off with another boy her younger son didn’t know.
